so today in class we were talking about sample size and conducting surverys. we were coming up with ideas for categories or something, things like age, geographical location, hair color, etc etc. so somebody said “gender”, teacher wrote it on the board, i then said, “sex” and she said, “we have gender already” and I said, “well, they aren’t the same” and EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN MY CLASS said something along the lines of, “yes they are” INCLUDING my teacher. i say, “…transgender?” and she shrugs and DOESN’T PUT IT ON THE BOARD.
